At Seams Sew Right we are very proud of our hometown here in Prescott. Located in the heart of Arizona, this historic town was founded in 1864 as the Territorial Capital of the state, and today it is popular tourist destination as well as a charming residence to its 43,000 inhabitants.

Prescott has many benefits to recommend, it such as several quaint art galleries, antique shops and specialty stores. It is home to three stunning public golf courses, lots of great restaurants and hotels, and some of the most beautiful parks and recreation areas in the country.

When it comes to art and culture you can’t beat Prescott. They have a large variety of museums, zoos, theaters and unique historic shopping areas, like the Old Fire House Plaza where our store is located.

The Old Fire House Plaza, found in historic downtown Prescott was originally constructed in 1956 as the city Fire Department and operated as such till 1991. In 2004 it was purchased and converted into a popular shopping and dining center. After various remodels and additions, the Old Fire House Plaza is now a show place for Prescott and hosts multiple events and celebrations throughout the year.
